Why this school?

CONESTOGA COLLEGE

To all prospective students, Conestoga College extends a hearty welcome. Among polytechnic universities, Conestoga is a pioneer. You may develop the knowledge and skills that companies are looking for by enrolling in one of our career-focused education programs, which all take into account the shifting nature of the labor market in Ontario.

Conestoga College supplies a consistent flow of highly skilled and qualified workers to serve the thriving economy and several growing sectors in the Waterloo Region: Manufacturing, Automotive, Food Processing, Aerospace, Business & Financial Services, Health & Life Sciences, Information & Communication Technologies.

Small class sizes, project-based learning, and an emphasis on experiential and work-integrated learning make up our distinctive educational strategy. One of them is co-op, a type of work-integrated learning that enables you to apply what you learn in the classroom to a real work environment. You get knowledge of the dynamics of a professional workplace from this experience, and you are equipped with the abilities necessary to contribute to a company right away. A co-op is an optional component of many degree programs, as well as many diploma and graduate certificate programs.
